A LITTLE BIT
ABOUT OUR
ENTERPRISE

Our journey began in 2021 when founders Andreas Arany-Toth and Inna Halasyova were completing their BA dissertations in Graphic & Digital Design at the University of Greenwich. Amid the lingering effects of COVID-19 and the growing cost-of-living crisis, both students took on multiple freelance projects to support themselves. They quickly realized that balancing full-time work and studies was essential—not just to make ends meet but also to gain industry-relevant experience and stay competitive in the job market after graduation.
However, tackling complex projects alone wasn’t always feasible due to time constraints. To overcome this challenge, they invited fellow students to collaborate, forming a team that could take on a broader range of projects. Andreas, with his background in operations and consulting, structured and resourced projects efficiently, matching students with the right skill sets. Meanwhile, Inna’s creativity and business acumen played a key role in securing deals and managing client relationships.
By fostering a strong relationship with the university, they leveraged the School of Design’s workshops and technology to deliver high-quality work while maximizing profit margins. This approach allowed them to share revenue with more students, creating valuable opportunities for their peers.
Their entrepreneurial efforts led them to participate in the university’s Enterprise Challenge, where they won the People’s Choice Award for Most Viable Business Idea in 2024. Over the past three years, they have successfully completed over 20 projects, providing work opportunities for both alumni and current students, while collaborating with various university departments and external clients.
Now, design dynamo is entering an exciting new phase, aiming to secure funding to expand its operations and invest in new technology. Their next goal is to offer paid internships to third-year creative university students, further supporting the next generation of talent.

Empowering Students Through Real-World Experience
We provide creative students with paid and volunteer opportunities throughout their studies, enabling them to gain invaluable hands-on experience. By working on real projects, students enhance their portfolios, refine their skill sets, and build industry-relevant work experience. This immersive approach significantly increases their employability post-graduation, helping them transition seamlessly into their chosen fields.
Our team is a dynamic and diverse collective of BA, MA, and alumni students, continuously evolving as we integrate fresh talent from various modules across the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences (FLAS). This fluid structure allows us to support a broad spectrum of creative disciplines while fostering an inclusive and neurodiverse environment. We actively support students with disabilities by tailoring work routines to suit their needs, ensuring accessibility and equal opportunities for all.

Sustainability & Resourcefulness
Sustainability is at the heart of our practice. We replenish our stock by repurposing scrap materials from previous dynamo projects as well as donated resources from the local community and clients, ensuring a continuous supply of unique, eco-friendly products. This approach not only promotes sustainable design but also fosters a culture of resourcefulness and innovation among students.
Through these initiatives, we are shaping a future where students graduate with not just a degree, but a robust portfolio, real-world experience, and the confidence to excel in their careers. By maximizing student potential and fostering long-term industry connections, we are redefining the landscape of creative education at the universities and colleges.
